I was worried last night that without rehearsal I was going to fall into the abyss…. I was so surprised!!!! Over the 3 week break I was working on the songs for the new EP “The Living Record Part 1″… I was involved deeply in every aspect of the songs but was losing a sense of performance.. So stepping back into Ventura Music made me nervous that the performance was going to be affected. This was not the case at all. JT had been touring with Bruce Hornsby for the last month so he was so current with his playing that he owned every moment last night. Adam and Charlie were able to slip into the groove without hesitation letting their subconscious guide them. For me I was free, I was fimiliar with the songs because of the studio, and subconscious about the the rest. It made me so in tuned that the performance of music lies deep in the spirit and not in the perfection of notes. This band is awesome and the chemistry could not be better!! See you Saturday July 7th for another great night.
